Conservatory Green Builder Completes First Model Home

April 2, 2013 by admin

Conservatory Green builder All Natural Homes recently completed their model home in Stapleton’s newest neighborhood. “This is a big step to where we are headed as to who we want to live in this neighborhood,” said Forest City President Phil Dargossi. “We had a vision for this neighborhood, and this model home by All Natural Homes simply nailed it.” Dargossi feels the urban-green look will be situated very well next to a giant mega-mall. “The types of people that want to have big gardens in their backyards and on their roofs are the same types of people that want to have easy access to a New York and Company.” All Natural Homes President Royce Litton is very excited about the company’s line of Stapleton homes. “Forest City told us what they were looking for in this particular neighborhood, and we thought we could hit it on the head. So far, so good.” All Natural Homes plans to have roughly 200 units in the Conservatory Green by the end of next year. The homes test-marketed very well with certain groups, but there is some concern as to whether this group’s income level will work for Stapleton homes. “There is some concern out there that the kind of people who want to live in an urban environment, yet essentially live off the land, may not be a strong fit socio-economically for Stapleton,” said Dargossi. “Studies have shown that this particular demographic that gardens a lot, and potentially would want to have goats and chickens, probably only has a household income of about $35,000, and typically does not live in cities. However, at Forest City, we believe we set the trends. We don’t follow them.” Some Stapleton residents are confused as to who is going to want to live in these types of homes. “If it was the 19th century in rural America with communal living, these places would be ideal,” says Classic Stapleton resident Greg Wolfe. “But, it is not very practical for a community where the average cost of a home is $450,000. Who is going to find time to do all that gardening with two full time working parents? Furthermore, whose gonna feed them goats?” Dargossi is confident people will buy the homes. “Even if the physical structure is not a good fit for anyone, the homes will sell. Everyone wants to live in Stapleton, no matter how impractical their domicile.” All Natural Homes will begin showing their model beginning this weekend, with lots already up for sale. Lots do not include chicken wire. ]]>
