\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/a>\nIn what has been an ongoing feud between Stapleton Residents and Forrest City with the City of Denver, an agreement has finally been reached to begin renaming streets that have the same name but either have \u201ccourt\u201d or \u201cstreet\u201d after them. Residents have missed packages, have had friends miss parties, and have even gone to the wrong home after a late night at the Berkshire.\n\u201cWe hate having to write on every invitation \u2018Clinton Street NOT Clinton Way,\u2019\u201d says Clinton St. resident Annette Coffee. \u201cIt is extremely annoying. Especially since everyone knows what blow-hard\u2019s Clinton Way residents are.\u201d\nThe City of Denver and Forrest City had no reason for the duplicate street names except to say that \u201cit was most likely out of laziness.\u201d Forrest City president Phil Dargossi says that they are spearheading street naming contests immediately. \u201cWe know this community loves a good contest,\u201d says Dargossi. \u201cWe will allow residents to submit their ideas and then, as usual in Stapleton, we will take a simple vote.\u201d\nThe biggest thing on the table prior to renaming the streets is which street must change its name. Those who live on \u201ccourts,\u201d \u201cways,\u201d or \u201cavenues\u201d believe they should remain, and streets should be renamed. Akron Street resident Brenna Breedlove disagrees. \u201cWe are already named correctly,\u201d says Breedlove. \u201cPlus, everyone knows people who live on a court are nothing more than white trash.\u201d\nDargossi says that he will work with the MCA and SUN to make the decision on what streets will change and what will remain.
