I told my husband to ask for directions, but we didn\u2019t know anyone. Everyone looked too different,\u201d commented a distressed Helen Clifford.\nShe continued to explain how the adventure unraveled. \u201cWe went out for a Sunday drive to explore our neighborhood and to meet with some new friends we met while attending yoga and walking our poodle mix when it happened. Before we knew it the houses were different, yards were bigger, trees overwhelmed the street and at one point we even saw a hipster. Our children seemed to be unaware of what had happened and remained calm while my husband scrambled for his iPad to navigate us back home.\u201d<!--more-->\nAccording to friends and family who were attending brunch at Udi\u2019s, they received numerous voicemails and texts regarding the ordeal. Several messages were unclear and sounded rather \u201cscattered and panicked\u201d according to one neighbor. \u201cWe didn\u2019t think anything of it at first, but then our minds wandered,\u201d said Helen\u2019s friend Jamie Cox. She continued, \u201cWhat if something happens?\u00a0 What if they find out about City Park, the museums and the variety of restaurants in uptown? It was at this point when I began to worry and thought I may lose my neighbor forever\u201d.\nAfter several minutes of terror and entering in the proper home address the family found a way home. \u201cGoogle maps claimed it to be a 7 minute travel time, but the trip felt like hours\u201d, said the Helen\u2019s husband Dave. The family quickly made their way back across Park Hill towards Stapleton and to the comfort of their home. \u201cWe are just glad we made it back safe and sound. I will be more aware of where I am heading next time,\u201d said Helen.
