\u201cObviously, all of our in-person events have\nbeen canceled.&nbsp; I mean, you have to be\nresponsible during these times.&nbsp; You don\u2019t\nwant someone catching a deadly disease, right?\u201d&nbsp;\nAs the lead of the group, Amy says they have made sure to keep in\ncontact.&nbsp; \u201cWe still keep items on the\ncalendar and email each other.&nbsp; We know\nwe will eventually come out of this thing and when we do, we want to be able to\nhit the ground running, so to speak.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The group has attempted to create some form of\nnormalcy for its members.&nbsp; \u201cWe have\ncreated some mini-zoom meetings where our members can interact,\u201d said Amy.&nbsp; \u201cThe meetings have been well-intended,\nhowever the satisfaction of our people hasn\u2019t been as great.\u201d&nbsp; Amy says members have been patient but\nacknowledge the meetings are a fry cry from what the participants are used to.&nbsp; \u201cI guess the biggest difference is that we normally\nget to touch our partners,\u201d said Stapleton swinger Randy Mayer.&nbsp; \u201cI mean, we have tried to keep things \u2018normal\u2019,\nbut in person sex is just way better than Zoom sex.\u201d&nbsp; Fellow swinger Meg Moellering agrees.&nbsp; \u201cZoom is good for a lot of things,\u201d acknowledges\nMoellering.&nbsp; \u201cIt has worked well for me\nto get in touch with family and friends and has been a big help for my company.&nbsp; But, in this particular circumstance, it\u2019s really\nnot that helpful.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amy is hoping the state\u2019s relaxed social\ndistancing regulations will help get the group going again soon.&nbsp; \u201cUltimately, we are about rules and safety,\u201d\nsaid Amy.&nbsp; \u201cWe are hoping to get back together\nas soon as we can, but within federal and state guidelines.&nbsp; We don\u2019t know what the next few months will\nlook like.\u201d&nbsp; Amy says that many times\nmembers wear masks anyway, but they may make masks required.&nbsp; \u201cThat shouldn\u2019t be a big issue, as we were\nconsidering making masks mandatory long before Covid,\u201d said Amy.&nbsp; \u201cWe will be taking some other sanitary precautions\nas well, but have not finalized those decisions.\u201d&nbsp; Hopefully, one of Stapleton\u2019s oldest institutions\nwill be back to swinging soon.&nbsp;
