Later this spring, the newest Stapleton art<\/a> project is being released in the Eastbridge Town Center. The new project is considered \u201cSound art<\/a>\u201d (that\u2019s apparently a real thing). The common area will have three talking parking meters that will be activated by sensors and speakers, and are meant to be surprise walkers as well as provide some humor. \u201cIt is going to be a really fun project,\u201d said artist Rose McAllister. \u201cI have done several projects similar to this, but I think this is going to really stand out.\u201d The project won\u2019t be completed until late spring or early summer, and the City of Denver and the artist are looking for feedback from Stapleton residents on what they think the meters should say. \u201cWe absolutely want input from the community,\u201d said McAllister. \u201cThis is community art, and the enjoyment of the people hearing it is incredibly important to us.\u201d The City of Denver and McAllister has turned to the Stapletonion to reach out to community members to get feedback and then provide that feedback to the necessary parties.
