\t\t\t\t\"family<\/a>The Wubbenas are fairly outgoing people, and when they are headed to the mountains, they become even more outgoing. \u201cWe love Mindy and Jake,\u201d said friend and neighbor Teresa Hays. \u201cBut, it can be a little painful when they go to their place in the mountains because it is definitely a little braggy. Yes, we know you are doing well, we know you have a place in Vail. Just say you are going to the mountains. We can fill in the blanks.\u201d Friend Stacy Schack agrees. \u201cShe definitely likes to work it in to the conversation,\u201d said Schack. \u201cI won\u2019t even ask, and she will say things like, \u2018we need to get together, but I can\u2019t this weekend because we are headed to our place in Vail.\u2019 It\u2019s pretty transparent that she is trying to brag about the place.\u201d\n\nThe boasting isn\u2019t just limited to Mindy. \u201cJake shows us pictures when we are out drinking,\u201d said friend Lee Harris. \u201cLiterally, just shows us pictures on his phone. They\u2019ve had the place for like four years. And the worst part is, they never invite us. In fact, they ask us if we want to rent it from them through VRBO when they aren\u2019t using it. It\u2019s pretty ridiculous.\u201d Social media has exacerbated the situation. \u201cWhen they are up there, it is just a constant stream of things like, \u2018just hanging out on our porch in our place in Vail,\u2019\u201d said Harris. \u201cAnd then, even throughout the next week, \u2018looking forward to being back at our place in Vail soon. Love this place!\u2019 It\u2019s just over the top.\u201d Friends are reluctant to say anything to the couple as they feel they will take it too personally. \u201cI think it is like a child to them,\u201d said Schack. \u201cSo mentioning how annoying it is would be like telling them their kids are annoying. So, I don\u2019t think it will go over well.\u201d Friends and neighbors are hoping after a few more years, maybe things will cool off. \u201cThey can\u2019t keep up this pace of bragging forever, can they?\u201d asks Hays. \u201cThe only other hope is that someone else lets them know how annoying it is.
