\t\t\t\t\"stapleton-west\"<\/a>The addition of the A-Line (or the University of Colorado A line as it so cumbrously called) has made it significantly easier for Stapleton residents to travel and explore downtown. So much so, that downtown Denver may be going through a name change. \u201cThe truth is, Stapleton is good for business,\u201d said downtown Denver visitor\u2019s bureau spokesperson Mandy Kohrt. \u201cWe want Stapletonians down here eating lunch, eating dinner, doing their shopping. We are also sensitive to the fact that Stapletonians don\u2019t always like to leave Stapleton. Well, maybe making a slight name change to downtown Denver can alleviate both problems. They won\u2019t have to \u2018leave\u2019 Stapleton, and downtown Denver increases revenue. Everyone wins.\u201d\n\nAccording to many downtown residents, not \u2018everyone\u2019 will end up winning. \u201cDowntown already has its own vibe,\u201d said downtown loft resident Eric Zimmerman. \u201cIt\u2019s young, hip, cool, single. Stapleton is really none of those things. Sure, there are some families down here, but only really cool ones.\u201d Downtown dweller Sarah Collins agrees. \u201cRenaming downtown \u2018Stapleton West\u2019 takes all the hip out of living down here,\u201d said Collins. \u201cThat would potentially even make me move. Maybe even to old Stapleton, where less Stapleton people will be hanging out.\u201d\nThe name change has not been set in stone, but it\u2019s certain downtown could soon be flooded with Stapleton residents. \u201cWe plan to take kids to the fountain down there, more dinners, and baseball games,\u201d said Stapleton resident Jeff Kallaway. \u201cPlus, kids are going to be headed to Six Flags, and the Pepsi Center.
