What originally looked like a hastily thrown together instant neighborhood now appears to be a well-thought out plan, complete with all the perks. Conservatory Green comes with its own Green (Conservatory Green Plaza), easy access to Target, and the trail system is coming in nicely. Add in the High Tech Elementary School which has a tremendous amount of green space and a magnificent play area, you have the makings of possibly the best neighborhood in Denver. The Conservatory Green residents have even created their own Facebook site to make sure Forest City and the builders don’t cut any corners.

“Overall, we are extremely pleased with how things have moved along,” says Conservatory Green resident Mariel Lewis. “We were living in Eastbridge, and of course were not excited about what was going on there. But, our home price was still pretty high, so we could sell there and get a bigger house over here. Turns out, we made the right decision. We love it over here, if not simply for the fact that it is easy to go to Target and we never have to shop at King Soopers again.” Julie Sifers feels the same way about her new neighborhood. “We were skeptical at first about being so close to the mall,” says Sifers. “But, once you are inside of the neighborhood, you don’t even know it is there. We are so glad we moved when we did. Our home value has appreciated about 30% in three months, according to Zillo.”
Residents in other Stapleton neighborhoods are now kicking themselves for not making the move when they had the chance. “We looked over there when they were first building it,” says Westerly Creek resident Aaron Shannon. “It just looked crazy, and not thought out. Plus, we didn’t want to be so close to the mall, and that traffic. “Turns out, we should have made the move. It is really a nice neighborhood.” Steve Gibbs agrees. “People on my block used to poke fun at that neighborhood. ‘Who is going to want to live by the mall?’ ‘Why would anyone want to live way out there?’ I guess we’re not laughing anymore, and the smart folks that moved to Conservatory Green are getting the last laugh.”
Although the Conservatory Green neighborhood is looking good, residents still say there is room for improvement. “There are things that can always be better,” says Lewis. “I think residents here have really banded together in a bitch-fest sort of way that only Stapleton residents can do. We will make sure no stone is left unturned when it comes to Conservatory Green becoming the elite of all neighborhoods.” Sifers wants to do even more. “We hope to not only surpass North Central Park as the best place to be, we essentially want to be a big version of the Nantucket Close.” With an attitude like that, how can you lose?

[14

0":"post-5674","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-issue-105","7":"entry
["GET
