The wait can be maddening as can some people\u2019s lack of understanding of the legality of turning onto a one-way street.  \u201cIf you get caught there at the wrong time, be prepared to wait a while,\u201d said Stapleton motorist Tom Knudtson.  \u201cI usually call my parents, or read up on the news on my phone.  It is frustrating and annoying, but I try to make the most of it.\u201d  Residents struggle to find an alternative route.  \u201cI could go all the way down and cross at Havana St.,\u201d says resident Gloria Jepsen.  \u201cBut, it just feels wrong to go that far past my place and come back.  Plus, I hate going by the jail.\u201d\n<!--more-->\nSome residents have an appreciation for the extensive traffic.  \u201cYou know, I am from Chicago,\u201d said Tim Cox.  \u201cAnd when I say Chicago, I do mean the actual city, not a suburb three hours out.  So, the traffic there can get brutal.  I was so happy to escape it, but when I get caught at that intersection, it reminds me of home.\u201d  Meena Evers agrees.  \u201cI lived in New York for a long time,\u201d said Evers.  \u201cPeople drive crazy there, and if you get caught at a bad corner, you are there forever.
