\t\t\t\t\"cant<\/a>On Tuesday, temperatures in Stapleton dropped to the mid-70\u2019s. This temporary freeze caused havoc for nannies and stay at home moms all over Stapleton. \u201cI have basically been taking the kids to the pool every day since the summer started,\u201d said nanny Erika Bearbower<\/a>. \u201cThen, we come home for lunch and video games, or a show, then back to the pool. It is a very simple routine.\u201d However, when the temperatures dropped, the pool was no longer an option.\n\n\u201cI didn\u2019t know what to do,\u201d said Bearbower. \u201cI texted some of my nanny friends, and we were all kind of at a loss. I even googled things like, \u2018what do kids like to do?\u2019 to try to figure out what I should be doing with them. Let\u2019s just say it was a really, really, long day.\u201d Other nannies agreed. \u201cOh my God,\u201d exclaimed Amy Seery. \u201cFirst of all, telling the kids we couldn\u2019t go to the pool was really hard. I mean, like, really hard. Then, we tried to watch a movie, and they were just to squirly. Finally, I decided maybe I should take them to the park. But, boy, what a rough, rough day.\u201d\nNannies are hoping the ice cold weather doesn\u2019t strike again. \u201cI think if I see the weather won\u2019t cooperate and I can\u2019t take the kids to the pool, I\u2019ll probably just call in sick,\u201d said Bearbower.
