They snapped the picture, quickly jumped back in their car, and headed back to Stapleton.  The sign reads, \u201cWhy is this fence still here?\u201d  The sign was most likely written by a frustrated Aurora resident(s) wondering why a fence with barbed wire is separating the Aurora and Stapleton communities.  The Stapletonion believes there may be several reasons why this fence is there, so we took a crack at answering this question.  First of all, we should remind Aurorans that you shouldn\u2019t; a)  ask questions you know the answer to, and b) ask questions you don\u2019t want to hear the answer to.  However, the question was asked, so here are some possible reasons the fence is still there.\n\t\n\n<ul>\n\n\n<li>It is only temporary until funding comes through for the <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/keeping-aurorans-out-eawe-begins-construction-of-security-gate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bigger wall<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Now that there are <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/aurorans-believe-havana-can-become-great-%E2%80%9Cget-a-way-street%E2%80%9D\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">through-streets<\/a>, we at least want to see you coming.  <\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Only purpose is to remind you that you\u2019re not one of us (Stapletonians).<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>We earned these two <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/after-long-wait-stapleton-to-get-another-car-wash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">car washes<\/a>.  Use your own.  <\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>We just put that up for spring break when you knew we\u2019d all be gone.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Our attempt to make sure no more white people sneak into Stapleton.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Stop being so sensitive; we don\u2019t want you walking through the poisoned prairie dog fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Oh that?  One of our seven crossfit programs uses that as a climbing wall. <\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>It\u2019s more decoration than anything else.  We really thought you\u2019d like it.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li>Hey, Aurora, don\u2019t come to me with problems.
