The community works hard to sustain an <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/forrest-city-taking-%E2%80%9Cless-sub-more-urb%E2%80%9D-slogan-to-whole-new-level\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">urban<\/a> and cultural environment to match that of the city.  Stapleton continues this trend with its latest project, adding gondola rides on the Stapleton <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/stapletonians-remember-tragic-sinking-of-the-mia-at-central-park-dog-pond\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dog pond<\/a> in Central Park.\n<!--more-->\n\u201cWe thought this would be a really fun thing for residents,\u201d said Forest City Spokesperson Janelle Ayers.  \u201cSo we partnered with a company who provides the guides and the boats, and we will be ready to go by mid spring.\u201d  Ayers said that they will try to provide live music in the amphitheater at the dog pond as often as possible, but when that is not available, they will play music through the speakers.  \u201cThe guides will be able to offer riders a brief history of Stapleton as they paddle them around the pond, or they can simply request quiet as they enjoy a glass of wine,\u201d said Ayers.\nAyers said the rides will last about 15 minutes, and they will never have more than 10 boats giving a tour at a time.  \u201cRides will cost $25 per couple, and riders can tip their guide as they wish,&#8221; said Ayers.  \u201cThe dog pond is a great place to enjoy the mountain view in Stapleton, and to look at all the beautiful neighborhoods all around.
