Homeowners understand typical growing pains in a new home, especially those built in a new community.   Typical things may include cracks in crown molding, doors not shutting as well, staircases needing adjustments, etc.  These minor issues are expected, but many homes are having more troubling issues.\n<!--more-->\n\u201cOur house has been around for 12 years, and it is really starting to sink,\u201d said Old Stapleton resident Kyle Gregory.  \u201cUnfortunately, we are out of warranty, and our builder has been <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/out-of-business-stapleton-builders-to-hold-reunions-with-homeowners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">out of business<\/a> for three years now.  We really don\u2019t know where to turn.\u201d  Gregory is like many residents in Stapleton who are having some troubles with settling.\nResidents are struggling to see where they have recourse.  \u201cWith the home builders out of business, who can we talk to,\u201d asks Gregory.  \u201cWe are hoping that we can claim that poor <a href=\"https:\/\/stapletonion.com\/posts\/does-forrest-city-even-know-what-remediation-means-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">remediation<\/a> by Forest City is the reason for the settling issues.\u201d  Residents feel there may be some action they could take against Forest City.
