\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/a>We have all seen the many wonderful private courtyards sprinkled around Stapleton. The courtyards serve as a nice play area for the members and gives them a greater sense of community. According to those residing in these courtyards, there is only one problem: there is not enough privacy from outside residents.\n\n\u201cWe see people run through here, let their off-leash dog in our area, and sometimes families will stop on walks and let their kids play in our common area,\u201d said private courtyard resident Kevin Heller. \u201cI know that 99% of these people are from Stapleton, so they should be able to read the signage. Do they not understand what private means?\u201d\nResidents are frustrated with the fact that they believe it is the same as someone walking right into their home. \u201cWhen we bought our houses, we bought into the private courtyard, as if it was included in the price,\u201d said courtyard resident Mitch Delaney. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t want strangers trampling all over your house without asking, and that is exactly what is going on.\u201d Courtyard residents held a \u201ctown hall\u201d meeting recently to discuss what should be done about this issue.\n\u201cWe currently have several options on the table,\u201d said Heller. Options include but are not limited to larger and more signage, putting up gates, private security, and possibly even attack dogs that are trained to attack all non-residents. \u201cSomething needs to be done, and we are still going through the process,\u201d continued Heller. Heller is urging non-private courtyard residents to please stay off of their property. \u201cYou all have plenty of other options. From your own yards, Central Park, to all the pocket parks<\/a>.
