\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/a>The Staybridge Suites at the Shops in Northfield is expected to be opened this December, just in time to help Northfield holiday sales. Forest City and The Shops at Northfield are hoping the new hotel will bring business their way. \u201cThe idea is that we will get lots of business travelers staying here,\u201d said Forest City spokesperson Janelle Ayers. \u201cOnce they are dropped off here by their car service, they will feel stuck in this area, and will hopefully do all their dining and shopping in the location.\u201d\n\n\u201cWe know there are plenty of hotels near the airport,\u201d said Ayers. \u201cBut we know that if promoted properly people will want to stay in Stapleton and everything the Shops at Northfield has to offer.\u201d The hotel will have 102 units, and be 90,000 square feet. \u201cWe are extremely excited about adding our first hotel to the Stapleton community,\u201d remarked Ayers. \u201cIt is another big step in our growth and developing our identity as a community.\u201d\nStaybridge is expecting more than just business travelers. \u201cWe know the high school will be hosting several tournaments and games year-round, and we will definitely be housing those guests,\u201d said Staybridge Spokesperson Kevin Brooks. \u201cAnd of course there is all of the events at Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods Park.\u201d In the end, the Hotel is projected to be busiest every year at the time of the Stapleton High School prom.\n]]>\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
