\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/a>In yet another effort to create a more efficient process for getting gas, King Soopers will partner with Coinstar, adding its machines to one of the pumps. \u201cWe are always trying to create a better experience for our customer,\u201d says manager Gary Stevens. \u201cThis feels like a very good fit for both companies.\u201d\n\nKing Soopers has repeatedly refused to relegate half of the pumps to \u201cpay at pump only\u201d pumps, but believes this is a strong compromise. One of the pumps now will be designated \u201ccoins only\u201d so those that previously waited in line while counting their change can now simply pay right at the pump by dumping in however many coins they would like. After they are completed, they can pump that exact dollar figure into their vehicles. Coinstar will receive four cents of every dollar deposited at the pumps.\n\u201cWe are excited to be a part of this first of its kind venture,\u201d said Coinstar CEO Paul Davis. If this is successful, we can see ourselves working with other poorly run gas stations in the future. The sky could be the limit with this.\u201d\nThe Coinstar machine is expected to be installed in early August, and Coinstar and King Soopers will test it for eight months. \u201cI absolutely think this will help,\u201d says Stevens. \u201cHave you seen how many people pay with coins at our pumps?
