A majority of this community involvement is handled through community meetings, where committee leaders, developers, and planners hold open forums for people in the community to come in and share their opinions.  There are often heated exchanges in meetings as opinions often differ.  One thing that a majority of attendees can agree on is that no one likes the level-headed, common sense, realist perspective some are bringing.<!--more-->\n\u201cDon\u2019t tell me something can\u2019t be done,\u201d says meeting-goer Chris Edmunston.  \u201cAnd definitely don\u2019t tell something isn\u2019t realistic.  That\u2019s not why I came here.\u201d  Others agree.  \u201cWhen I go to those meetings, I want my voice to be heard, and my ideas to be accepted without rationale,\u201d says Andy Gustufson.  \u201cAnd most certainly don\u2019t try to take me through the reasons why something isn\u2019t feasible.  I\u2019m just not listening.\u201d\nRealist Josh Runyan definitely feels unwanted.  \u201cI am like anyone else.
