\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/a>\nStapleton residents have had about enough of Park Hillians using our pools, parks and open space. Stapleton residents essentially do not like paying higher taxes for a nice neighborhood, just to have others come in and use facilities their hard earned tax dollars paid for. As a last resort a senior committee will consider invading Park Hill to stop further encroachments on the unique and sheltered lifestyle we all want to maintain. A recent meeting sponsored by the Stapleton Coalition to keep Park Hill in Park Hill had well over 500 attendees. Many people complained that overcrowding at our pools and our Rec Center are easily attributed to the migration of Park Hill residents using these \u201cStapleton Facilities.\u201d \nOne parent complained that her son could not get a job in Stapleton because Park Hill kids had taken them all. Another couple from our East Bridge area stated that they can not go out and watch the sunset near her house due to all Park Hill people coming in to watch. While not wanting their name used they told the Stapletonion \u201cwe don\u2019t feel comfortable outside watching the sun go down with those people around. Something has to be done to protect our way of life.\u201d\nThe senior committee will be headed up by well known Stapletonians Jason Klunder and Matt \u201cSure Shot\u201d Shelton. The plan is to assault Park Hill from the north and the south so they think Hilltop and Commerce City are the responsible parties. Mr. Shelton believes after our victory we should have a scorched earth campaign through Park Hill similar to Sherman\u2019s march through Atlanta.\n]]>\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
