Eight Men Tearing Down Parking Garage “Taking a Break”

March 7, 2011 by admin

Some in the community have questioned why Forest City only hired this eight man crew. “They had the best history with this sort of project,” said Forest City President Phil Dargossi, noting their work on tearing down the long time Post Office building on Wazee and 16th. That project took 12 years. “Doing things right takes time,” said Weber. “Also, we don’t have the same advantages bigger companies do, such as heavy equipment, which presents some challenges.” When tear down is complete, Forest City will begin construction on yet another highway exit. Residents have no need for immediate worry, as Weber mentions, “their children will be grown” before completion.]]>
