Third School to be Built on Top of Second School

March 9, 2011 by admin

Most Stapleton residents feel comfortable with the compromise, but some are still concerned about having to switch from Westerly Creek to the new school. “If my child has to be moved to the new school, they will have to walk up stairs,” complained local resident Julie Hartzell. “Plus, I feel they may never see their old friends again if they go to the new school. That can be pretty hard on a child.” Geography will be the only thing the two schools share, as the new school will be significantly different than the old school, says new Principal Walker. “For instruction, we will be using the Osmosis Method, which essentially has kids lay their heads on books in hopes of information seeping through.” When asked about the advantages of the new school, Principal Walker replied, “the view, mostly.” The new school looks to be opened by August of 2016.]]>
