addicts of Stapleton Swap. Fred Schmadeke is concerned his wife has a problem. “We either have some new items coming into our house every night, or we have bags of stuff sitting outside with people coming at all hours grabbing things off the porch and leaving money. Then, she tells me how much she paid for items and how much she sold items for. It really has taken over our lives.” Schmadeke says that the other concern is the hours she is putting into it. “She is up all night posting and buying things,” said Schmadeke. “It is crazy. I definitely feel like I have been swapped for Swap. Of course, she still cares about the kids, and 90% of the things she is buying are for the kids, but I am pretty sure I could leave the house for a few nights and she wouldn’t notice.” Schmadeke says there are some positives of his wife’s addiction. “It does give us something to talk about,” said Schmadeke. “I mean, we’ve been together for 15 years, you really don’t have much to discuss except for finances and kids. But now, we can at least talk about the great stuff she is getting daily. So, there’s that.” Schmadeke says other husbands should steer their wives clear of Stapleton Swap. “Once they are on it, it is pretty much over. Plus, I don’t really know what she is doing. She could be using Stapleton Swap, or texting with some guy. Come to think of it, I would rather she was texting with some guy.”]]>
