Report: Stapleton Parents DO Love Their Kids More

June 17, 2015 by admin

stapleton parents love kids moreIn a recent study conducted by the University of Colorado at Boulder, researchers acknowledged that according to data, Stapleton parents do love their kids more than Americans who are not living in Stapleton. “We looked at several different factors,” said research director Dr. Keith Geary. “How much time people spend with them, how much money they spend on them, how many extra-curricular activities they are enrolled in, among many other factors. In all cases, Stapleton parents ranked significantly ahead of the mean of loving kids in America.” Geary says the study not only compared Stapleton to all of America, but went down to the city and neighborhood level. “It was important for us to see if there was another neighborhood out there that loved there kids as much as Stapleton parents do. Data says there is not.” Geary says he got the idea for the study after coming to Stapleton for a dinner party. “I have friends that live in the community, so I have been there a couple of times,” said Geary. “I always noticed how incredible the parents were to their kids. My hypothesis was that these people (Stapletonians) simply loved their children more than other people do. So, we designed a study to see if that could be proven.” Geary says that a partially quantitative and partially quantitative survey was used to test the hypothesis, and the survey had almost six million respondents from all 50 states and every major metropolitan area. “It was quite a large project,” says Geary. “Gathering the data was the hard part, but once we had the data, we could analyze it in several different ways. But, anyway we sliced the data, Stapleton came out on top when it came to loving kids.” Stapleton resident Mariel Bauer agrees with the data. “I guess I don’t need fancy data to let me know Stapleton is the most kid-loving community,” said Bauer. “Moving to Stapleton so your kids can have a better life is really all the proof you need.” David Stevens agrees. “People here are just such great parents,” said Stevens. I don’t want to say perfect, because nobody’s perfect, but on a scale of one to 10, I would say the average Stapleton parent is a 9.8.” Geary says the best way for people outside of Stapleton to love their kids more would simply be to get inside of Stapleton. “If you want to love your kids as much as people in Stapleton do, you must become one of them.” And gauging by real estate interest, it appears people are trying to join the light side by the thousands. ]]>
