Join Fellow Do-Gooders, New Perspective Real Estate Company in Collecting Food for Food Bank of the Rockies

September 9, 2014 by admin

food bank of the rockiesHunger is a serious issue and many residents throughout the Front Range could use some comfort heading into winter. Especially in need, are our new residents who moved to enjoy the Mary Jane outlets. Here are some creative ideas to donate to this worthy cause:

  • Clear out all those shakes, quinoa, and chia seeds that were necessary for your last health kick,
  • OR
  • Clear out the Chef Boy-ar-dee & Rice-a-roni when you went to the store hungry & nostalgic,
  • OR
  • Head to Target or King Soopers for generic items on sale and double your good deed points for using your Red card or King Sooper gift cards since 5% goes to your school of choice!
Then, take food items to your nearest barrel drop-off location. Show off your generosity by loudly dropping a few cans and enjoy being watched as you donate multiple bags. Barrels can be found at the following awesome businesses:
  • Amore Fiore
  • Blue Creek Spa
  • Dance Institute
  • First Bank
  • The Grubbery
  • Mike Giles Family Karate
  • Mici Handcrafted Italian
  • New Perspective Real Estate
  • Quebec Square Family Dentistry
  • Semplice
  • Stapleton Fellowship Church
  • Stapleton MCA
  • Stapleton Orthodontics
  • Stapleton Visitor Center
  • Wine Cellars at Stapleton
Schools include: Bill Roberts, Denver Discovery, High Tech, Isabella Bird, McAuliffe, Odyssey, & Swigert If dropping off is too difficult, look for a white & blue paper grocery bag to be delivered to your home on September 19th, fill it from your pantry (go back to creative ideas) and leave on your front porch by 8 am on Saturday, September 27th. Finally, the easiest way to donate is to pull our your credit card. Click here to go to the Food Bank of the Rockies. Now that you have done your good deed for the week, sit back and relax with a glass of wine on your front porch and prepare yourself for Stapleton’s next big giving event, Halloween!]]>
