Stapleton Family Hires Former Dolphin Incognito to Toughen Up Kids

March 4, 2014 by admin

IncognitoIt didn’t take long for former Miami Dolphin Richie Incognito to land on his feet after being let go by the Dolphins. The NFL cast away was given an opportunity by a Stapleton family. “We have a seven year old boy and a 10 year old boy,” said Stapleton parent John Gibbs. “I have been trying to toughen my kids up, but I feel like they need a little bump in the right direction. I figured no one would be better than Richie at bullying my kids to put a few callouses on their souls.” The details of the contract have yet to be released, but Incognito will spend time with the family a few hours each night, and then 6-8 hours each weekend day. “We don’t need him to live with us, but we need him to be here enough that he can brow beat the kids a little bit,” said Gibbs. Incognito became infamous in the last NFL season when it came to light that he had been bullying teammate Jonathan Martin, often threatening him and calling him racist and phobic names. “In Jonathan’s case, the bullying backfired, and it didn’t make him tougher,” said Gibbs. “However, I think with my kids, it will go the other direction, and the kids will get tougher.” “I am very excited for this next chapter in my life,” said Incognito as he read from a written statement. “I feel that I will be a great asset to the Gibbs family, and especially the boys. I look forward to mocking them, slapping them, and calling them names they have yet to hear. All in an effort to make them the tough boys we know they can be.” Incognito begins his work for the Gibbs family in April. ]]>
