Local Coffee Shop Finds Success in Stapleton

May 10, 2011 by admin

Over the years, a handful of coffee shops have started in Stapleton, but were never able to stay afloat.  Except one.  The small coffee shop near the corner of Quebec and 29th, Starbucks, has been able to withstand the ups and downs of the local economy. “We have been pretty lucky,” said owner Tony Weiland.  “We have a great location, and the loyalty of the Stapleton community has been tremendous.”  Local patrons appreciate the quality and consistency of the products.  “I always get my morning Starbucks,” said Ashley Gerken.  “They have great lattes and even their scones are delicious.”  Starbucks has been able to withstand the competition and has been in the black for five years now.  “When we first started off, we had to prove to people that we had a good product,” said Tony.  “We finally earned the community’s trust and feel we are in a very good position now.”  Residents are counting on the coffee shop being there a long, long time.]]>
