King Soopers Gas Station to Go Public

February 26, 2011 by admin

“This seemed like a very obvious move,” said Soopers CEO Chad Klunder. “People clearly love the gas from that station, and we are certain this is the best step for us.” While Klunder may seem a little braggadocios about the gas, the long lines at the station don’t lie. Local resident Chris Shannon says he has waited over three hours sometimes to get his King Soopers gas. “This is one of those things that may be a trend or a phase, but I like the gas here,” mentioned Chris. One of the first steps after going public will be pouring money into a consulting firm to figure out a more simple line process. “Sometimes the lines are very similar to those of a shopping mall on Black Friday, or that of leaving Red Rocks after a concert,” said Klunder. “There has to be a better way.” Also in the works is a radical idea of setting up credit card only pumps.]]>
