Eastbridge Family Goes Out to Eat at “Not Stanley” for First Time in Three Months

not stanleyThe Elmers have lived in Eastbridge for about a decade and have long waited for the Eastbridge town center. “It‘s been really frustrating to have that promised for so long but nothing delivered,” said husband Andy. “There are certainly good options in the town center, but it’s nice to have something closer.” So when the Stanley Marketplace opened up, the Elmers were elated. “It was great having a place close that had so many good food options,” said Andrea. “We go there all the time. We mostly eat at Comida and the Stanley Beer Hall, but of course have been to Annette, the Denver Biscuit Company, and Yellowbelly. So many great places.” There are so many choices, in fact, that the Elmers had only dined out in Stanley for the last three months. “The kids have fun there, and we like the food, beer and atmosphere as well,” said Andy. “And, of course, it’s easy to get there, so we just kind of end up there every weekend.”

Last weekend, the Elmers tried something new. “We had gone to a movie and planned on coming back to the Stanley,” said Andrea. “But, the kids were tired, and we thought maybe we should just get something near the theatre. So, we decided to not eat at Stanley for the first time in a while. We went to Jim N Nicks, and certainly enjoyed it.” The Elmers are not sure how often they will dine at “not Stanley” but it was a good experience. “We will try ‘not Stanley’ again,” said Andy. “But, we really do love what they have to offer at The Stanley, so that will more than likely be the majority of our dining experiences. Don’t get me wrong, we are willing to try other things, but probably only once every three months or so.”
